About

Emotional wellbeing and bereavement support

Just ‘B’ offers expert emotional wellbeing and bereavement support to children, young people and adults across the communities of North Yorkshire, as well as specialist support regionally and nationally.

As well as 1-1 emotional wellbeing and bereavement support, we offer information and advice for professionals. Our bereavement support service is suitable for people experiencing any type of bereavement, including suicide, road traffic accident or terminal illness.

We are responsive to people’s faith, individuality, culture and community.

Just ‘B’ is one of a range of services offered by North Yorkshire Hospice Care, a registered charity helping people to live with terminal illness and bereavement. This includes Saint Michael’s Hospice, which works across the Harrogate District, and Herriot Hospice Homecare, which serves the communities of Hambleton and Richmondshire.

We rely on financial contributions from individuals, companies and organisations to be able to deliver our care and support. This care is provided at no cost to people using our services. Our ability to help people who are bereaved and the professionals who care for them depends heavily on the generosity of the public.

One of the organisations supporting Just ‘B’s work with children and young people is Warburtons, who have kindly offered a grant of £400 until February 2024.
