If you’re a child or young person, Just ‘B’ can help you if you’re struggling with your mental health. This could be with your feelings in general (emotional wellbeing) or because someone has died (bereavement).
Whatever you’re feeling is ok, and we’re here to listen and support you.
If you’re a parent, carer, teacher or trusted adult, you may be concerned about how a child or young person is feeling. We’re experienced and trained in providing the best bereavement and mental health support. We can help children and young people struggling with grief, anxiety, self-harm, low mood or other challenges.
Below you can see the ways we support children and young people, and some emotional wellbeing and bereavement resources.
Just ‘B’ are experienced in supporting children and young people with bereavement. We offer a one-to-one safe space where children have an opportunity to express their emotions and grief, with our professionals on hand.
If someone in your life has died, a trusted adult or health professional can help you get our support for free.
Learn about our bereavement support for children and young people
Working together with schools, our trained support workers are there for children and young people experiencing things including anxiety, confidence or relationship challenges.
Schools can sign up for us to partner with them and we’ll provide one to one sessions with students.
If your school already partners with Just ‘B’, ask to see your support worker.
You can contact us whenever you need us for free, even if you’re not having bereavement counselling or have support in your school. With Hear to Help, you can call, text or email us. One of our Children and Young People’s team will get back to you.
When someone dies suddenly, it can be very upsetting for many people around them. We help schools, communities and families for free when this happens and think about everyone who may be affected.
If you have a question about our children and young people’s services, please call (01423) 856 790 or email JustBCYP@justb.org.uk.
If you work at a school and are looking for support for students, see our schools page.
