Just ‘B’ works collaboratively with organisations regionally and nationally, who fund us to provide tailored support via a range of bereavement, mental health and emotional wellbeing services.

Working in partnership with Oscar Kilo, the National Police Wellbeing Service, Just ‘B’ provide a bereavement support service to 43 police forces across England, Scotland and Wales. The service supports police officers and family members following the death of a police officer in the line of duty or through suicide.
Oscar Kilo have provided further funding for our Just ’B’ Senior Police Officer’s Support Service. This service provides emotional wellbeing support calls to senior officers across the UK.
Through Ministry of Justice funding, we provide specialist counselling service for victims of crimes living in North Yorkshire. The service supports individuals affected by sexual abuse, historic domestic abuse and violence and coercive behaviour.
North Yorkshire Stronger Communities funds our Suicide Postvention service for Harrogate and District, Hambleton and Richmondshire. We work with MIRT (Major Incident Response Team) to provide specialist and targeted counselling and other appropriate bereavement support for Adults, Children and Young people affected by suicide.
Through funding from the Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership, we provide specialist bereavement support for children, young people and adults bereaved by suicide in the Scarborough area.
Working across the YO11, YO12 and YO13 postcodes, this virtual support is for those who have been bereaved by suicide at any point in their lives.
BBC Children in Need have been a key long-term funder for our Just’B’ children and young people’s bereavement support service. The service supports anyone under the age of 18 living in Harrogate and District and the Hambleton and Richmondshire areas.
The National Lottery have funded Just ’B’ to recruit and train bereavement support volunteers from our local community. Each volunteer provides valuable bereavement support for children and young people who are experiencing grief, loss, and poor emotional wellbeing.
Through the Serious Violence Duty Prevention and Early Intervention Fund, we have been able to provide emotional wellbeing support in two alternative provision secondary schools in North Yorkshire. Our support aims to help children and young people better understand and manage difficult emotions.
