Grief can impact us all in different ways; emotionally, physically, the way we think, what we believe in and how we relate to others. Our information and support aims to help you manage your own feelings, and support others who are experiencing grief.

Children and young people may experience and express feelings of grief in different ways. Our practical tips and advice can help you support a young person affected by bereavement.

As Christmas approaches, Just ‘B’ is offering the community useful tips on how to look after themselves at across the festive season, which can be a particularly busy time where emotions are intensified.

In time for Mother’s Day, our Just ‘B’ team shares some useful ideas on how people can look after themselves if they are experiencing grief for a mum, step mum, grandma, or important female role model in their life.

According to the Mental Health Foundation’s recent survey, ‘a quarter of adults said they felt so anxious that it stopped them from doing the things they want to do some or all of the time. Six in ten adults feel this way, at least some of the time.’

But for some parents juggling work and childcare, finding ways to occupy children with limited resources, or dealing with challenging weather, it can create added stress.
