Our bereavement and mental health support volunteers play a crucial role at Just ‘B’.
There are plenty of opportunities available to donate your time to Just ‘B’, and we’d love to hear from qualified counsellors and psychotherapists interested in joining our team.
Additionally, if you have a passion for supporting bereaved children and young people but don’t have any formal qualifications, completion of one of our face-to-face courses will allow you to provide support to our young clients during their time of need.
Our roles, working with children, young people and adults, include:
– Volunteer counsellors
– Volunteer support worker
– Volunteer telephone support worker
We recruit for these at certain points of the year, which includes an interview with our team to get to know you, and you can find our voluntary roles advertised via our recruitment hub.
If you’re a student looking for a placement, take a look at our trainee counselling placements page.
Our volunteers are well looked after by our caring team of staff. As well as making a difference to young people and adults in our local community, they have the opportunity to learn valuable skills and gain professional experience.
Our charity has a dedicated team who offer extensive wellbeing and resilience support.
