Just ‘B’ welcomes Volunteer Trainee Counsellors as part of placement opportunities within our services. Our dedicated staff team on hand to provide the support and guidance you will need during your time with us.
We are currently recruiting for Volunteer Trainee Counsellors to join our Just ‘B’ Adults team based at Herriot Hospice@The Lambert. In line with our new strategy, we intend to increase the size of the service we offer to bereaved members of our community across Hambleton and Richmondshire.
Just ‘B’ will be right at the heart of our new community hub in Thirsk, providing services alongside our inpatient and HOME teams. We’ll have a suite of rooms where children, young people and adults can access expert bereavement support from our team of highly skilled team.
Our Volunteer Trainee Counsellors are key to our success. Not only do they gain valuable placement experience, but they are able to excellently support our clients and build a therapeutic relationship in a safe and supportive environment.
If you know anyone who may be interested, please ask them to contact Sharon Van Ee (svanee@justb.org.uk) and Debbie Dean (ddean@justb.org.uk) for further details or an application pack.
Volunteer Trainee Counsellors must have already commenced studies in counselling at diploma level or above. They must either have a current registration or enrolled on an accredited training programme such as (BACP, UKCP, OR NCS).
