Just ‘B’ support for clinical staff at UK hospices extended

Expert support provided by Just ‘B’ for UK hospices has been extended until the summer.

The support sees Just ‘B’ providing telephone emotional wellbeing support to clinical staff at UK hospices, supporting them and signposting to wider specialist organisations if required.

It is funded by national charity Hospice UK, which works closely with Just ‘B’ and its family of services, including Herriot Hospice Homecare and Saint Michael’s Hospice.

The service forms part of a range of bereavement and mental health services Just ‘B’ provides for people across North Yorkshire and beyond.

Director of Client Services at Just ‘B’ Clare Schmidt said: “Working alongside two hospices in Herriot Hospice Homecare and Saint Michael’s Hospice as part of our family of services and charity, we know how vital hospice care is for communities across the UK.

“We’re pleased to be using our expertise to support these colleagues as part of this important partnership, being there when they need a listening ear.”
