How do I refer a patient or client to Just ‘B’?

Just ‘B’ offers planned bereavement support to children, young people and adults living in the Harrogate District, and Hambleton and Richmondshire. The service is suitable for people experiencing any type of bereavement, including suicide, accidents, murder or terminal illness.

It is important to note that Just ‘B’ is not a crisis service. This means we treat all referrals equally. It is therefore particularly important that professionals have the consent of the adult they are working with before taking any steps to refer them to our service. In the case of children, the parents or carers and the young person themselves must give consent for the professional working with them to refer them to Just ‘B’.

Your client can also self refer.

Just ‘B’ has a highly skilled team who are pleased to share their knowledge and expertise with others whose work brings them into contact with bereaved people. Our training is designed to meet your organisation’s particular needs and we would work closely with you to make sure it meets your aims.

Although we do not run a formal advice service, our team is happy to offer some telephone advice and information to professionals where possible.
